Sjang is neit mee
Speech by Peter Nohlmans, chairman of the band, at the sad occasion of the funeral of Sjang Jessen, one of the spiritual founding fathers of Tisniksentwurtniks. Any translation would undermine the essence, because this speech was written in the dialect of Sittard (Zitterd), the dialect that Sjang loved so much. Suffice it to say that the speech culminated in the singing to a jam-packed church of a sailor-song that Sjang had often sung after band performances when Seven-Up had long been replaced by beer...
